Safety Notes and Flags
Overtaking Overtaking is only permitted on the exit from corners or on straights (i.e. under acceleration). Only overtake on the side you are told at the safety briefing. Many circuits use the left and some use the right. Both cars must be travelling in a straight line before any overtaking manoeuvre is carried out. The lead car has the right of way in any situation although should yield to a following car within a couple of corners. Tailgating will be viewed as unsafe driving. If you are reported by a marshal for unsafe driving you will be shown a black flag signalling you must leave the track immediately and report to the control marshal. Penalty may vary from an educational lecture to a loss of track time. Flags
Passengers Drivers must not go on track unless they are sure their passenger is happily secured in the car and has read and understands the safety notes. If the passenger shows any sign of distress during the ride slow down. General Reminders Do not join the circuit until you are instructed to do so.
Any personal items left on the venue are left at the owners risk and the
company will not be responsible for any loss or damage. Access To The Track Please make sure anyone associated with your party is aware
of the above points. |
