Sculthorpe Airfield allows to give you a 1.5 mile trackday Circuit and a couple of extras to give you even more smiles per gallon. Trackday Plus comprises activites as listed below:-
1.5 Mile Trackday Circuit
Open Pit Lane is the order of the day on this airfield circuit. Loads of Run Off on this coned circuit. Cones mean an opportunity to vary layouts between events.
Circuit Operations are under the control of Javelins experienced Marshalling Team. So you have no worries from that viewpoint. Circuit is open all day with a break for lunch.
Speed Trap
A Quarter Mile Straight with a simple Speed Trap at the end. Just for fun there atre no prizes for Fast Speed on the day. Just a great way to set up the car and find out which mods and gear changes work and which don't.
This feature will operate for half of the day alternating with the Car Control Course
Timed Car Control Course
A fun way of finding out how your car works. A coned course that can be driven time and time again allowing you to find how to get the best from your car. Each run will get a time display allowing you to assess and compare changes in style, suspension settings etc.
This feature will operate for half of the day alternating with the Speed Trap.
Conditions Apply
Sculthorpe Airfield is a Military Training Area therefore some simple yet important rules need to be put in place. To ensure safe use of the site. Please make sure you can comply before entering. These are listed below:-
1) Persons under 16 years of age, Animals, Pets and Paddock Motorcycles are NOT allowed on site.
2) Any driver exceeding the 20 mph speed limit covering the access areas and 5 mph in the Paddock Area may be eveicted.
3) Any unauthorised persons found outside of the designated areas may be evicted. Please note that the purpose of these events the grassed areas are classed as being Out of Bounds.
4) The lighting of Open Fires or Barbeques is prohibited.
