We know what you are thinking "Timing is not ALLOWED on Trackdays" and you are quite right to think that. Anyone caught tming on any of our trackday events is heading for an early shower.

However it would not be human to not think is the other guy or girl actually quicker than me or I know I am quicker than them. Thats how Motorsport was born.

Javelin Timed events are designed to scratch that itch without the expense and hoops of getting into racing etc. If you have a safely prepared Trackday or Road Car you will find something here to test yourself and your car againt the clock or others.

We have 2 styles of Timed Events :-

Sprint

Javelin Timed Events can provide a  variety of tests for your driving skills such as wide open soft coned expanses of tarmac, the high speed banking of  Rockingham Speedway or the twisty narrow access roads of a cold war missile compound.

 
Events are designed to be relaxed competition in a safety concious environment. We currently operate 2 x One Make Sprint Series for Toyota and Alfa Romeo Cars and usually we run a Class X within rounds of these events that is open to all sensibly prepared cars. This class is open to drivers who hold a full DVLA Car Licence and Trackday, Competition and Road cars. NB Soft & Open Topped cars must have adequate roll over protection. Cars can be double or even triple entered. Obviously there are a few simple Technical rules on car preparation and these can be found here. 

We currently have spaces on the following Sprint style events :-

Drag / Straight Line

Ranging from a simple single lane 1/8th mile run to 2 Lane Races over a One Mile distance. We run several Standing Quarter evenst for clubs etc throughout the year.
Our main straight line events are Fighting Torque and Thunder Road.
